Grasp the base of the heart shape, not the neck. This will prevent inflation into the balloon neck.
Inflate the balloon only to the designated size (ie. 11" diameter). DO NOT OVERINFLATE.
Tie the balloon at the base as high up on the neck as possible, to maintain the heart shape.
Do not inflate by mouth. Use an air inflator or, if you want the balloon to float, a helium inflation regulator. Use of an inflation device is recommended.
