Recycling and disposal
When the disposable cylinder is empty take outside, open the valve completely by turning the valve handle anti-clockwise to make sure there is no residual pressure in the cylinder. Do not leave unattended during this procedure. Take cylinder to a recycling centre, your local council refuse centre or if necessary dispose of in rubbish.
Proper disposal of cylinder helps recycling efforts and protects the environment.
You should find that your local scrap dealer will be more than happy to take them off your hands!
